Over 22 veterans a day are lost to suicide, which is now the leading cause of death in the military, surpassing war. Over 4,000 dogs are put to sleep in shelters, ever day. Rescue Rescuing Veterans (RRV) program is trying to bridge the gap by exclusively placing rescued dogs as companion dogs to help our veterans overcome the daily struggle of PTSD and depression. We aim to raise awareness to 22 Until None, a non-profit organization that assists in ending veteran suicide.

RRV program is a registered 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization that uses donations to help pay for approved Veterans’ dogs and vetting costs. The aim is that a veteran can obtain a potential service or emotional support animal at no cost. Each Veteran applying through the program is asked to provide proper documentation to verify eligibility.

Applicants for the RRV program must be both approved by our Director of Veteran Services, as well as a general adoption application approval process.  RRV graduates will receive lifetime free daycare, and discounted boarding at The Dog Ranch.

As a 501(c)3, we greatly appreciate your donations as well. Just click the “Donate Now” button.

The Dog Ranch proudly hosts a permanent spot for the RRV program. For other questions please contact us at rrvprogram@gmail.com.
